13th Annual New York Indian Film Festival
(NYIFF) today announced the lineup for their
“100 Years of Indian Cinema” series
presented by Incredible India! Ever since
pioneer filmmaker D.G Phalke released his
first feature film Raja Harishchandra on May
3rd, 1913, India has continued to be the most
prolific and diverse film industry in the

at Sundance Film Festival 2013 |
 Girl
Rising, the new feature film from Academy
Award nominated director Richard E. Robbins
, today released its theatrical trailer. The
film, which premieres on March 7th, 2013,
previewed last night at the Sundance Film
Festival, during an event hosted by strategic
partner, Intel, with special guests Freida
Pinto and Edwidge Danticat. Girl Rising spotlights
the stories of nine unforgettable girls born
into unforgiving circumstances.

Festival 2013 |
 Fire
in the Blood, a feature-length documentary
film produced by Sparkwater India, Mumbai
is to premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival,
to be held January 17-23 in Park City, Utah,
USA. An intricate tale of 'medicine, monopoly
and malice', it tells the story of how Western
pharmaceutical companies blocked access to
low-cost AIDS drugs for Africa in the 1990s.
